Before You Sign Up.

I've never trained before. Will I be lost?
Beginners are the rule, not the exception. Every program has on-ramp content for new students. The owner is on the floor and will walk you through your first class personally if you let us know you're new.
My kid is nervous about starting. How do you handle first-day jitters?
Every instructor knows your child by name before the second class. We assume every new student is nervous, and we run the first class accordingly. Parents are welcome to watch from the lobby. Most kids who walked in nervous are asking when the next class is by the end of week one.
What is the $59 charged for, exactly?
There isn't one. $59 covers two weeks of unlimited classes. When the two weeks end, you decide if you want to continue. We'll go over membership options at that point, never before.
Can I cancel?
The trial is two weeks of access for a one-time $59 charge. There is nothing to cancel during the trial. If you decide not to continue after the two weeks, you simply stop coming.
What do I wear and bring?
Loose athletic clothes, no shoes on the mat, a water bottle. If you already own a gi or rashguard, bring it. If you don't, we'll let you know what to get after your first week.
When are classes? Will I find a time that works?
We run classes every weekday afternoon and evening, plus Saturday morning. The full schedule is on our schedule page. Most students find three to five classes per week that fit their life.
Is the $59 charged immediately?
Yes. Securing your spot requires the $59 commitment up front. That's why we don't oversell trials. The seat you book is the seat you keep.
What if my schedule changes mid-trial?
Talk to Mike. We'll work with you. The point of the trial is to find out if Guido's is your place, not to play schedule gotcha.

We don't believe in free trials because we don't believe in free commitment. $59 is small enough that anyone serious can start, and large enough that only serious students do. Two weeks is enough time to see how the room actually feels and whether this is your place. Most know by the end of week one.
