Class Format

How The Class Runs.

60-minute classes. Warm-up, technique, drilling, conditioning, and optional sparring once the student is ready and Mike approves. No requirement to spar. Most adult students never compete and never want to. The class works either way.

Common Questions

Before You Try.

I'm out of shape. Will I survive?
The class meets you where you are. Working at 60 percent the first week is fine. By week two you'll surprise yourself.
Do I have to spar?
No. Sparring is optional and only happens after Mike approves and you agree.
I'm 40 and have never trained. Too late?
No. Adult beginners are the bulk of every adult class.
